Patterns: whether you go with polka dot print or a subtle stripe throughout, patterns are making a huge comeback. And why not?! They are super fun and can add a touch of whimsy to your wedding day. Try paisley ties for the groomsmen or floral dresses for the bridesmaids. A note of caution: try not to be too 'matchy-matchy'!

The Reception "Lounge": more and more people are taking advantage of this awesome idea! An area away from the dance floor where guests can mingle in a more relaxed setting. A great place to put the photo booth or any games you might be including.

Birds: really! Birds are all over the wedding scene right now. Centerpieces (think a cute little nest with a candle, flowers or light blue candies in it), a bird house for the card box, birdcages throughout the venue, lovebird décor on your stationary, and of course, feather accents in what the girls are wearing. Backdrops: these have become one of the must-have décor items. Behind the head table, for a photo booth, at the cake table - wherever you want to add a little something extra. Try twinkling lights behind a sheer fabric, a giant chalkboard or you can make it completely out of florals (check the bridal section for some ideas!). The possibilities are endless here!

The Roaring 20's: one of our personal faves; the whole feel of this era make it perfect for a wedding. The style of the 20's is romantic: think soft colours and lace. Brides wanting to rock this look should try a beaded headband or a cloche style headpiece. The Food Truck?: this is a fairly new idea at weddings but people are now having gourmet (or not-so-gourmet) food trucks come to their wedding for their late lunch, rather than the traditional light fares. Your guests pick and choose what they want!

And last but not least...Mint: the colour, that is. Mint is THE colour for 2015- Not just for the clothing although this can look fabulous! - think a signature drink (anyone care for a mojito?), cakes, cupcakes and favours. Your invites printed on mint-coloured paper, and soft mint linens on your tables with a rich brown accent for contrast.
